The first annual Omaha Police Officers ball was held in 2014. The Omaha Police Officers Ball is a formal event to honor area Officers who have demonstrated exemplary service.

This event allows Officers to present their peers with awards for outstanding leadership, excellence and volunteerism.

In 2015, at the second annual Police Officers Ball, the Co-Founder of the event, fallen Officer Kerrie Orozco, was one of the many Officers honored for their dedication to the Omaha Police Department and our community.

She was presented with the volunteer service award to acknowledge her many achievements before she was taken from us on May 20th, 2015 in the line of duty.  The volunteer service award was created in her memory: the Kerrie Orozco service award.

In each of the past balls, numerous Officers and their significant others have attended this spectacular event and raised funds for the Special Olympics Nebraska.

Our event has grown beyond a fundraiser and allows us a formal evening to pay tribute to our fallen brothers and sisters.
